COMMISSIONING: |
- After the approval on the installation by the Electrical Inspector, the line will be charged with the power sources.
- Once the power is available up to the panel, all the function of the individual components will be checked which is called as the pre-commissioning test.
- It is possible by means of giving signal to the controller and then getting output signal from various other components like Brake caliper, Yaw motor, Rotor sensor, Wind sensor, Cable twisting sensor etc.
- It is also necessary to check the direction of rotation of the motor before running the machine.
- Once all the said parameters have been checked and ensured that the machine is in order for running, the machine will be put into running mode and machine will start free wheeling.

| ASSEMBLY AT SITES: |
| a) Tower Assembly & Erection |
 |
|
A massive crane will be employed for erection of the tower. When the tower is ready in the ground assembly, the crane is positioned near the foundation and the tower is slowly lifted and will be put into the foundations by means of joining bolts and then torque tightened .This ground assembly includes assembling the tower in single segment length or two lengths depending upon the height and weight. Once the tower is assembled in the ground, all the bolts will be torque tested for its tightness and after ensuring the proper torquing of the fasteners, the tower will be ready for erection. When the tower is ready in the ground assembly, the crane is positioned near the foundation and the tower is slowly lifted and will be put into the foundations by means of joining bolts and then torque tightened. |

| b) Nacelle Erection |
The Nacelle mainly consists of |
 |
- Gear Box
- Generator
- Brake units
- Main shaft
- Yaw system
- Sensors
|
|
Which are assembled in the housing and kept at the top of the tower, After the tower erection is over, the Nacelle will be lifted and kept on to the top of the tower and will be torque tightened. |
